The “Tieng noi Xanh” (Talk Green Future) public speaking and debate competition, organized by the For Green Future Foundation under Vingroup, has officially announced its Season 3 champions following the Final Round held on February 1 at VinUniversity. The event marked the conclusion of a more than four-month journey that brought together thousands of students from 34 provinces and cities nationwide.

The First Prize in the Vietnamese division was awarded to team So Dua, comprising Tra Thi Hau Giang and Bien Huynh Cam Giang (Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted, Dak Lak), for their idea of an oil-absorbing mat made from discarded hair and coconut fiber. The solution helps absorb grease, reduce water pollution, and promote the sustainable reuse of biological waste

This also marks the first time Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted has claimed the championship title, after two consecutive years finishing as runner-up.

The First Prize in the English division went to team Cropspiracy, with Cao Khanh Nguyen and Ho Duc Minh (Nguyen Sieu High School, Ha Noi). In the Final Round debate on the importance of advancing green mobility, the team stood out with clear, sharp, and highly persuasive arguments, securing the top position.

The two outstanding champion teams of Talk Green Future Season 3 are So Dua (Vietnamese division) and Cropspiracy (English division).

Each champion team will receive prizes worth a total of VND 3.3 billion, including a cash prize of VND 50 million, a 100% scholarship for an undergraduate program at VinUniversity applicable to all majors, a VinFast electric motorbike, and a 3-day-2-night stay at Vinpearl Nha Trang for four people (including accommodation, breakfast, and VinWonders tickets).

The Second Prize winners in the Vietnamese and English categories were team Thong Nhat, with Duong Thanh Vinh and Vu Hoang Phuc (Vinschool Ocean Park High School, Ha Noi), and team 29.09, featuring two contestants sharing the same birthday – Nguyen Dinh Gia Phuc and Dang Khanh Linh (Nguyen Du High School for the Gifted, Dak Lak).

Third Prize winners in the Vietnamese division included team Vong San (Pham Vu Bao Chau and Trinh Xuan Phuc from Hanoi – Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, Ha Noi) and Soy Milk (Nguyen Phuong Anh and Nguyen Ha Linh from Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted, Hai Phong). In the English division, the Third Prize went to Eco Wonderers (On Khanh Ngoc and Tran Bao Minh Anh from Thoai Ngoc Hau High School for the Gifted, An Giang) and Cool Cucumbers (Pham Thanh Minh and Ho Quang Tung from Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted, Ho Chi Minh City).

Meanwhile, Consolation Prizes were awarded to teams White Heart (Tran Duy Dan from Khanh Lam High School, Ca Mau and La Tien Minh from Bac Giang High School for the Gifted, Bac Ninh), Slavik (Tang Quoc Trung and Vo Thi Ngoc Tram from Nguyen Thien Thanh High School for the Gifted, Vinh Long), LALC ECODAILYH (Bui Thuy Lan Anh and Dinh Thi Y Linh from Nguyen Binh Khiem High School for the Gifted, Da Nang), and Co xanh (Vo Tieu Ngoc and Ho Thi Thanh Tuyen from Dakrong High School, Quang Tri) in the Vietnamese division; and Eco Sparks (Nguyen Vu Thien Giang from Ha Long High School for the Gifted, Quang Ninh and Truong Khanh Phuong from Tran Phu High School for the Gifted, Hai Phong), Economads (Nguyen Hai Ngoc and Nguyen Bao Lam from Nguyen Van Troi High School, Khanh Hoa), Vico (Pham Viet Dung and Nguyen Quang Huy from Vinschool Central Park High School, Ho Chi Minh City), and Pioneers (Vo Tran Khanh Chi and Nguyen Thieu Bao from Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, Nghe An) in the English division.

The Organizing Committee also presented the “Most Active School Participation” award to A Duy Tien High School (Ninh Binh) and Nguyen Van Thoai High School (Da Nang), recognizing the strong participation from students at both schools. Each school will receive in-kind support equivalent to VND 50 million to further enhance their facilities and work toward meeting the green school standards.

The “Tieng noi Xanh” (Talk Green Future) competition is one of the key initiatives under the Green Education Program, part of the cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Education and Training and the For Green Future Foundation – Thien Tam Foundation (Vingroup) for the 2023–2028 period. After three successful seasons, the competition continues to affirm its position as an engaging intellectual playground for students nationwide, becoming a platform that encourages young people to share creative ideas and fresh, distinctive perspectives in the journey toward the country’s Net Zero goal.
